Description:

As practicing dentists, we’re faced daily with the challenges of root canal system anatomy and the need to disinfect and debride complex systems that stretch beyond what we’re able to visualize.

Furthermore, achieving a potential goal of maximizing disinfection and debridement with minimal shaping and dentin removal, has amplified our challenges despite our best efforts.
Over time, we’ve seen the evolution of tools and technologies to aid in this cause, from passive to active irrigation methods, and we are now poised to embrace the next paradigm shift in active RCS disinfection and the preservation of more natural tooth structure: the GentleWave Procedure from Sonendo.

This immersive GentleWave bootcamp course will introduce you to this revolutionary technology and procedure, and give you the opportunity to utilize the GentleWave System hands-on, with the aid of a Zeiss clinical dental microscope and an extracted tooth.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Gain familiarity with the GentleWave System from Sonendo, a revolutionary and immediately available technology and procedure for debridement and disinfection of the minimally shaped root canal system
Understand and be able to identify the differences between conventional methods of debridement and disinfection and the GentleWave procedure
Become familiar with the GentleWave procedure by preforming it firsthand on an extracted tooth!
